Get ready for some of the best Gulf of Mexico views in Pelican Bay. Beyond the incredible views, these buildings are quite popular due to their berm/boardwalk and tram access. Since there are a staggering 21 sub-communities, we should jump right in. Keep reading to learn about each of the high-rise communities.
Cap Ferrat–One of the most luxurious high-rise buildings in Pelican Bay, Cap Ferrat is situated within Crown Colony and directly on the berm. Cap Ferrat is quite popular due to the generous floor plans offering 2,225 to 6,850 square feet of living space. All condos come with at least two deeded parking spaces, 9-foot ceilings, and private elevator access that opens directly into each unit. Amenities at Cap Ferrat include a heated pool and hot tub, fitness center, saunas, steam room, massage rooms, library, billiards room, two guest suites, and a 24-hour staffed gatehouse.
Chateaumere–Home to 140 residences, Chateaumere is a mixed development community with four mid-rise condo buildings and one 16-story high-rise building. Located on 10 beautiful acres in the southern portion of Pelican Bay, Chateaumere is less than a block from the Commons, a tennis hotspot and tram station. Community amenities include three heated pools, a billiards room, and a fitness room along with two guest suites.
Claridge–Perhaps the most iconic building within Pelican Bay, the Claridge is not to be missed. This Art Deco high-rise has floor plans ranging from 1,749 to 2,500 square feet. Unique building features include keyless entry systems for all access doors, in-unit water leak detection/protection systems, and fiber optic cable throughout. Claridge amenities include a large heated pool and spa, fitness room, saunas, media room, library, and two guest suites.
Coronado–Each of the 99 residences offer a front and rear balcony so residents get to enjoy all of the beauty that Naples has to offer. The units range in size from 1,601 to 2,240 square feet. Residents enjoy direct boardwalk and berm accessibility so morning walks are a breeze. Other amenities include a 24/7 lobby attendant, resident manager, two guest suites, fitness facility, social room, media center, library/boardroom, sparkling pool, and hot tub.
Dorchester–Known for its conservative rental policy, the Dorchester is a great option for those in search of a development with few “snowbird” renters. With few renters and a no pet policy, this 16-story high-rise is a quieter retreat. Floor plan sizes range from just over 1,700 square feet to over 2,300 square feet. Dorchester amenities include a heated pool, spa, fitness center, club room, grilling area, and guest suites.
Grosvenor–Take a step into the Grosvenor to be greeted by a massive indoor atrium. Plans are in the works for a lobby and atrium renovation which will bring a modern, coastal aesthetic to the building. Due to the unique shape of the building, the majority of the units do not offer direct Gulf of Mexico views in comparison to other high-rises on our list. Amenities include a social room, fitness center, pool, 24-hour security, two guest suites, and more.
Heron–No need to worry about elevator wait times at the Heron. With just 40 condos, two condos per floor, the Heron is the smallest high-rise in Pelican Bay. Most of the condos offer nearly 2,000 square feet of living space while only two penthouse units have 3,500 square feet of living space. The building’s unique bowtie shape allows for wrap-around views from each unit. Amenities in Heron include a remodeled lobby, social room, guest suites, and fitness room. Other offerings include a private tennis and pickleball court, shuffleboard, pool, and hot tub.
Marbella–Many move to Naples in search of retirement communities. The Marbella is the only retirement condo development in Pelican Bay. With unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and a variety of activities and entertainment options, this is quite a popular development in Naples. The luxury building offers 118 residences and all residents have access to an attached health care facility featuring seven levels of health care. Concierge services are available including full dining, room service, and valet parking with assisted living services provided on an optional basis.
Montenero–Ideally located right next to the North Tram Station, this 20-story building is one of the newer builds (completed in 2001). All residences offer stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and the natural preserves. Floor plans start at 2,675 square feet and go up to 3,460 square feet. Amenities include four guest suites, a pool, grilling area, state-of-the-art fitness room, theater room, billiards room, and 24-hour security at the front desk.
Mystique–When one thinks of extraordinary, they think of Mystique. Completed in 2019, Mystique features 81 units, so it is slightly larger than its sister building, Epique. Floor plans range from 4,003 to 5,280 square feet. Luxe amenities include a pool, spa, health club, massage rooms, theater, library, billiards room, Har-Tru tennis courts, storage lockers, bike room, 24-hour front desk, and so much more.
St. Kitts–At 22-stories, this is one of the tallest high-rise condos in Pelican Bay. St. Kitts can be found within the mixed, gated community of Crown Colony. A total of 97 units range in size from approximately 1,300 to 2,000 square feet. Residences beginning on the 5th floor are treated to spectacular Gulf of Mexico views. In 2013, St. Kitts went through a lobby and amenity remodel treating residents to a beautiful pool, fitness room, social room, and guest suites.
St. Laurent–Continuing with the Saint buildings (there are nine), St. Laurent is also 22-stories with 107 residences. Expect anywhere from 1,450 to 2,500 square feet of living space. Just like St. Kitts, Gulf of Mexico views start on the fifth floor. Fabulous community amenities include a fitness center, pool, spa, social room, library, two tennis courts, two guest suites, and beach access directly off the pool deck. New windows and sliders were installed in 2021 and 2022.
St. Lucia–Centrally located near Gulf Park Drive, St. Lucia is a mixed development that includes the St. Lucia tower (70 high-rise residences) and the St. Lucia Garden (16 low-rise residences). Prepare for incredible sunsets from every unit as they all boast southwest exposure. Floor plans range from 1,300 to 2,600 square feet of living space. Residents enjoy a saltwater pool, fitness room, two guest suites, library, social room, billiards room, and card room.
St. Maarten–Not long ago, all metal railings on the lanais were replaced with solid glass railings. This made an impactful change to the views from each condo and is one of the only high-rises with this feature. The 90 residences feature 2 to 4 bedrooms and 1,330 to 3,144 square feet. Amenities include a pool, spa, fitness room, tennis courts, community room, billiards, library, guest suites, and grills.
St. Marissa–The third and final high-rise within Crown Colony is St. Marissa. This 21-story high-rise has 97 residences with floor plans ranging from 1,341 to 2,200 square feet. Most residences offer Clam Pass or Gulf of Mexico views. One major difference about St. Marissa is the lack of immediate beach access off the pool deck. However, there is another tram access point that is relatively close. Amenities include a 24-hour staffed privacy gate, two guest suites, a beautiful social room, a recently expanded fitness center, and a sparkling pool with a spa.
St. Nicole–Near the Heron development, St. Nicole features sweeping views of Clam Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The 97 residences offer 1,263 to 3,327 square feet of living space. Amenities at St. Nicole includes a pool, spa, grills, billiards, card room, fitness room, media room, social kitchen, social room, and two guest suites (plus ample guest parking).
St. Pierre–Golfers delight in great views of the Club Pelican Bay golf course at St. Pierre. Enjoy beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico from the West and the golf course views from the East. Residences consist of approximately 1,400 to 2,100 square feet of living space. Amenities include a salon, health club, billiard room, hobby room, two guest suites, boardroom, pool and spa, air-conditioned poolside cabanas and two tennis courts.
St. Raphael–Regal, elegant condos await discerning buyers at St. Raphael, a mixed development community. A 20-story high-rise building and villas total to 159 units. The building design allows for minimal elevator sharing which is a great perk when considering high-rise living. Incredible Gulf of Mexico views await with spacious screened-in lanais. Amenities at St. Raphael include a concierge, fitness center, two tennis courts, a large saltwater pool, spa, four guest suites, an entertainment room with kitchen, library, massage room, and 24-hour manned security. St. Tropez–Just like the Heron, St. Tropez is also a very small high-rise with just 52 residences. A perk to a smaller high-rise is fewer people using the amenities. The floor plans range from 1,100 to 2,400 square feet and feature large lanais with beautiful Gulf of Mexico views. St. Tropez offers a large pool suitable for lap swimming, a tennis court, a fitness room with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a sauna, a library, a social room, a TV room, and free Wi-Fi throughout the common areas.
Stratford–Offering some of the largest layouts, Stratford offers 1,700 to 4,000 square feet of living space. One notable feature is the building layout in which units actually begin on the third floor. Therefore, first floor units are actually three floors up therefore providing better views for all residents. Amenities include a large pool and spa, tennis courts, a pickleball court (only one other high-rise offers a pickleball court), exercise room, and more.
