The Naples Beach Club Re-Envisioned
If you have not been keeping up with the local news, you may not be aware that several large, luxury hotel chains are buying up property in Naples, Florida to build luxury residences. This speaks volumes to the success and lucrativeness of the Naples real estate market. Since 2020, the market has seen unbelievable growth. Naples has become a wealthy hotspot in Florida, with people flocking from around the world to claim their slice of paradise. With that said, it is no surprise that luxury hotel chains and developers are moving into the Naples market.
Heading up this new trend is the Four Seasons and Athens Group as they remodel the old Naples Beach and Golf Club. The Athens Group is widely regarded as one of the nation’s preeminent developers of luxury hotels and residential properties. Set to be completed in late-2024, construction for the Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort is already underway.
This new development will span 125-acres and will include 216 hotel rooms and around 185 residences consisting of single-family homes and beachfront condominiums. Renowned architectural firm Hart Howerton is designing the residences while the Discovery Land Company, a private-cub developer and operator, curates the amenities. “The Residences at Naples Beach Club will set a new standard for Naples living, located in the heart of the vibrant Naples community, while also providing owners with an intimate club experience located directly outside their door,” said Michael Meldman, Chairman, Discovery Land Company.
The project is set on 1,000 feet of white-sand beach in iconic Old Naples and a championship golf course that will go under extensive improvements. Included in the renovation are the beloved HB’s on the Gulf and Sunset Beach Bar. A convenient “Market Square” will be open to the community and will include a cinema, kids’ club, restaurant with bowling lanes, and the resort’s spa and fitness facilities.
