Exploring Pelican Bay: Villas
Situated along pristine white beaches, the private community of Pelican Bay is one of the most sought-after developments in Naples. Residents are drawn to the North Naples luxury community for its safety, recreational offerings, and private beach clubs. With more than 6,500 residences across 95 luxury communities, Pelican Bay has a home for every type of buyer. Of those 95 associations, 21 have villa ownership opportunities. Offering up the privacy of single-family homes and the convenience of multi-family developments, villas are arguably the most sought-after property type in Pelican Bay. Each community has its own unique architectural style, amenities, and homeowner association. Keep reading to learn about the different villa communities offered within Pelican Bay.
Bay Villas – Built between 1980 and 1983, there are 71 Mediterranean-style villas in this large community. The attached and detached villas range from 1,540 to over 1,990 square-feet making Bay Villas some of the smallest villas available in Pelican Bay. The majority of the villas have private pools and two car garages which makes these villas feel like single-family homes.
Beauville – Situated on the newer end of Pelican Bay, Beauville offers detached and attached villas up to 3,200 square feet. Living in Beauville will transport residents to France with French-inspired architecture. Villa owners will be treated to either stunning Pelican Bay golf course views or lush nature preserve views.
Bridgeway Villas – With private pools, lush landscaping, and 60 ownership opportunities, there is much to love about Bridgeway Villas. It is situated near world class shopping and dining at Waterside Shops and is steps away from local schools, religious gathering spaces, and so much more.
Carlton Place – The most recent villa development in Pelican Bay, Carlton Place is situated on the idyllic Pelican Bay Boulevard. It is just steps from a tram station, perfect for easy beach access. Floor plans range from 3 bedrooms all the way up to 4 bedrooms plus a den. Almost all of the villas, 27 of the 28, feature private pools.
Chanteclair Manor – The quaint community of Chanteclair has just 19 French-inspired villas. The majority of the detached villas are two-story floor plans which is important to take into account when considering purchasing a property. These cannot be renovated to single story villas so residents in this community must be comfortable with two-stories.
Coco Bay – Located directly across the street from the beach tram, this is a highly-sought after community. All 33 detached courtyard villas boast fabulous water and/or golf course views. The floor plans feature up to 4,400 square feet of living space, private pools, and two to three car garages. If you are looking for a more “single-family home” feel with a larger floor plan, these villas are a great option.
Grand Bay – For those that love to host and entertain, look no further than Grand Bay. The 33 detached villas often include separate guest houses, private pools, and large courtyards that call for evening soirées. With great lake and golf course views and spacious floor plans, Grand Bay villas sell quickly.
Interlachen – This is one of two communities that offer both villas and condos in Pelican Bay. The architecture is reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright. Interlachen features 21 villas and 72 condos. The villas come complete with private pools and garages. However, the Interlachen amenities include a sparkling pool, hot tub, and grilling area.
Isle Verde – The Spanish-style architecture defines the luxurious, gated community of Isle Verde. With charming brick-paved streets, lush landscaping, and villas with fabulous views, Isle Verde is a highly regarded community. Las Brisas – Conveniently located near Tamiami Trail, Las Brisas is home to 50 attached villas with Mediterranean charm. Floor plans range from two to three bedrooms with single and two-story options. While single-story floor plans boast high ceilings, the two-story layouts offer master suites downstairs with guest bedrooms upstairs.
Lugano – The second mixed-building community in Pelican Bay is Lugano with 17 villas and 54 low-rise condos. The single and two-story villas are on the smaller end in terms of square footage but deliver on views. Residents are treated to spectacular views of the lake, golf course, and nature preserve. Many of the villas have private spas. Since Lugano is a mixed community, there is also a community pool, spa, and grilling area for all residents.
Oak Lake Sanctuary – Centrally located, Oak Lake Sanctuary offers 22 villa homes built between 1991 and 1996. Floor plans vary greatly with both single and two-story villas that range between 1,800 square feet to over 3,500 square feet. The villas feature seven homes with sparkling lake views, five homes with wooded preserve views, and ten courtyard-style homes. All homes offer a two-car garage.
Pointe I & Pointe II – Constructed in separate phases by different builders, The Pointe has a total of 86 villa residences. The gated community boasts a heated pool and spa, oversized sun deck, charming brick paver roads, social room with full kitchen, library, state-of-the-art exercise room and private board room with office facilities. Select units even come equipped with private elevators.
Sand Pointe – Constructed between 1984 and 1986, Sand Pointe has 21 attached villas with 2 to three bedroom layouts. Most villas rely on their own sparkling pool and landscaped backyards for a view. Gorgeous vaulted ceilings, private pools, and spacious courtyards await residents in this charming, old-world Mediterranean-style development.
San Marino – Inspired by the breathtaking Republic of San Marino in Italy, this large development has 88 villas. San Marino is directly across the street from the beach tram station offering easy beach access to residents. Villas feature either a 1 or 2-car garage and golf course or garden views. Community amenities include an expansive swimming pool, spa, fitness room, grilling area, and clubhouse.
St. Andrews – This quaint, gated community is one of the most sought-after villa developments due to the private access point to Club Pelican Bay. One of the Naples’ top golf courses is just 300 feet away with St. Andrews’ private pedestrian gate. The 16 detached villas in St. Andrews embody the “single-family home” feel.
Tierra Mar – Located on the South end of Pelican Bay, Tierra Mar is a gated community with 49 attached and detached villa homes. Each villa has a private garden, pool, and landscaped outdoor living space. Tierra Mar was Pelican Bay’s first villa community and features timeless California Spanish bungalow architecture with glass clerestory windows and high vaulted, beamed ceilings.
Villa Coronado – With just 14 attached villas, this is the smallest villa development in Pelican Bay. Villas are located on a private drive and feature attached 2-car garages, screened lanais, courtyards and Spanish tile roofs. It is rare to find one of these villas on the market so if you find one, move quickly.
Villa La Palma – The only villa development in Bay Colony, Villa La Palma offers 3 different villa models for residents to choose from. Generous floor plans begin at 3,600 square feet through 4,600 square feet of living space. Bay Colony is a private, gated, beachfront community surrounded by estuary-lined mangrove forests and the pristine Gulf of Mexico. On top of the Pelican Bay amenities, Bay Colony residents also have access to the Bay Colony Tennis Club and Beach Club.
Villa Lantana – Drive through Villa Lantana and you will be transported to the beautiful island of Bermuda. The 24 attached and detached villas offer meticulous landscaping and paver driveways. Large lanais, private pools, and two-car garages are just a few of the luxuries that await residents of Villa Lantana.
Villas at Pelican Bay – Unlike the other villas in Pelican Bay, the 48 attached villas in this development are wood-frame construction. Residence sizes vary greatly with two to four bedroom layouts and single or two-story options. Residents are treated to either lake, golf course or landscaped views. Villas of Pelican Bay has a community pool and clubhouse.
Beyond the individual association amenities, Pelican Bay has some of the best community-wide amenities in the area. With more than 88 acres of park and recreation space, there is plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful weather Naples has to offer. Pelican Bay is a biker and pedestrian paradise with miles of lush, well-maintained berms, boardwalks, and sidewalks. Since Pelican Bay is one of the most active communities in Southwest Florida, there are ample opportunities for residents to get moving. From tennis to fishing to sailing to golf, there is something for every active lifestyle at Pelican Bay.
The rarest and most frequented amenity are the two private beaches, North Beach and South Beach, which extend for nearly three miles. At each beach, residents will be taken care of by an incredibly friendly staff including beach attendants, fitness instructors, tram drivers, and wait staff. For added ease, beach attendants set up lounge chairs, cabanas, and umbrellas for all beach goers. At the end of the day, residents often enjoy a sunset dinner by the Gulf of Mexico at one of the two beach restaurants/bars.
