While the COVID-19 outbreak is affecting communities around the world, our professional real estate team is continuing to responsibly represent customers who want or need to buy or sell a home. While our physical real estate office is not open, our team is still working hard and conducting the business of real estate in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines and other requirements of executive orders.
Though many of the ways we operate are changing, rest assured that our existing infrastructure provides us with capabilities of effectively interacting with each other and our customers electronically — along with offering virtual showings and paperless online transaction management.
As a company and as individuals, we are being meticulous about protecting ourselves, our families, our customers, and the communities we serve by taking precautions to slow the spread of the Covid-19, including washing our hands, practicing social distancing, avoiding large crowds, cleaning and disinfecting objects and surfaces in our homes and office, and working with our sellers to do the same in the properties we represent. We are eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep; and, should we get sick, we are committed to following appropriate protocol and not making contact with others until we have recovered.
We are educating ourselves and those who depend on us on the facts regarding this pandemic. We understand that misinformation and scams are always prevalent, and even more so during times like these, so we are available to share what we know with anyone who asks.
We fully understand and appreciate that this is not business as usual — or life as usual. With compassion and understanding that everyone is dealing with a new, hopefully short-term “normal,” we are remaining positive, present, and prepared to do what is necessary to personally navigate what lies ahead while also connecting with our customers, partners, and others who may need to hear a calming voice or receive a helping hand.
